Coblença, Alemanha

Hoje é o meu terceiro dia na Alemanha,mas o primeiro em que fui para a escola, e o que saí de casa propriamente. O que significa: Não conheço ninguém. Não vou mentir, tive um bocado de medo.

Acho que no geral, Portugal ganha pontos na receptividade a pessoas novas. Aqui toda a gente parece mais receosa de falar em inglês, então só falam alemão. Mas a Anny explicou-me que são todos assim e que demora para se habituarem a pessoas novas.

O que me chamou muito à atenção na escola é que eles não têm campainha. As aulas terminam sem um toque a avisar e por isso eu não acredito que nunca tenham perdido a noção das horas e simplesmente ficaram na sala.

As aulas parecem demorar muito menos tempo, e sendo que estão só a falar alemão maior parte das vezes, ainda me custa a passar o tempo. As aulas também duram 45min, no entanto, eles não juntam duas aulas diferentes para ter 90min. Têm dois intervalos de 90 em 90min, e entre os 45 um de 5min.

Day 3

Koblenz, Germany

Today is my third day in Germany, but also the first day in school, or that I properly left the house. What means: I don't know anyone. Wich, not gonna lie, was a bit scary.

I think in general, Portugal gets points with being more open to make non portuguese speakers feel at home. In here, everyone seems more "scared" to speak in english, so they just speak german. But Anny explained that they're just like that and it takes time for them to get confortable.

What caught my eye the most in school is the fact that they don't have a bell. The classes end without a warning sound, therefore i don't believe that they never lost track of time and just stayed in class.

Also, the classes seem a lot shorter, and knowing that they're just talking in german most of the time, time doesn't pass easilly. The classes take 45min too, but, they don't put 2 classes together so it has 90min. They have to bigger breaks every 90min, and every 45min they have a 5min break.
